ईरान में पिछले कई दिनों से हालात तेज़ी से बदल रहे हैं. देश के अलग अलग शहरों में सरकार विरोधी प्रदर्शन लगातार जारी हैं. एक्सपर्ट्स और चश्मदीदों के मुताबिक, इस तरह के बड़े और व्यापक विरोध ईरान की क्रांति के बाद बीते 47 सालों में पहले कभी नहीं देखे गए.
जैसे ही लोग सड़कों पर उतरे, अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने चेतावनी दी कि अगर प्रदर्शनकारियों को मारा गया तो अमेरिका ज़ोरदार जवाब देगा. इसके बाद ईरान की तरफ से भी सख़्त प्रतिक्रिया आई और कहा गया कि ऐसी किसी भी स्थिति में वो क्षेत्र में अमेरिकी सहयोगियों और हितों को निशाना बनाएगा.
ऐसे में सवाल ये है कि ईरान में चल रहे ये विरोध प्रदर्शन कितने अलग हैं. और इन पर ईरानी सरकार की प्रतिक्रिया अब तक के पिछले प्रदर्शनों से कैसे बदली है.
